That’s me, Amal.

I’m a Southsea local and a mum of two. I know how quickly everyday life can fill a home — and how much difference a little practical support can make.

I started The Home Helper in 2025 to help people find more ease in their own spaces. We’ll work together, with respect for your belongings and the way you live.

You don’t need to tidy before asking for help. We can start exactly where you are.

Do I need to tidy up before you come?

No. Seeing how your space works day to day helps us find solutions that fit. There’s no need to make it look different before we start.

Will I have to get rid of things?

You stay in control of every decision. I can help you think through what you use, love and need, but nothing leaves your home without your agreement.

Where do you work?

The Home Helper is based in Southsea. Please share your postcode when you enquire so Amal can confirm availability, travel arrangements and any costs for your area.

Do I need to buy storage first?

No — let’s see what you have first. Once we know what needs a home, we can consider whether anything else would be useful. Any new storage is agreed with you and paid for separately.

Is this a cleaning or rubbish-removal service?

The focus is decluttering and home organisation. Specialist cleaning, repairs and waste removal are outside these packages. We can discuss what additional help your project may need before you book.

How do I book, and what if my plans change?

Start with a call, email or the enquiry form below. Amal will confirm the scope, availability, total price, payment arrangements and cancellation terms before you commit. Enquiring does not book or charge you for a session.
